Starting at $30,495, the 2011 Ford Mustang GT comes in two models – the Coupe and Convertible. It holds a 5.0-liter V8 that uses advanced technology to deliver 412 horsepower @ 6,500 rpm, 390 lb.- torque @ 4,250 rpm. The coupe models of the 2011 Ford Mustang come with a six-speed automatic transmission. The fuel economy for the convertible is 17 mpg city/26 mpg highway and for the coupe, 18 mpg city/25 mpg highway. The 2011 Ford Mustang GT’s top speed is electronically limited to 155 mph and it can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 4.3 seconds.

New features in the 2011 Ford Mustang include: improved driveability, tractability, and fuel economy, as well as deep-sump oil pan that allows 10,000-mile oil change intervals, specially designed tubular exhaust headers, option for the Brembo brake package with 14-inch vented front discs, standard message center, new fender badges and engine cover, and new speedometer and tachometer. Electric Power Assist Steering has made an impressive contribution to Mustang GT driving dynamics with faster steering response, and increased exertion at highway speeds and reduced exertion needed in low-speed parking maneuver. Standard AdvanceTrac® Electronic Stability Control, which complements the all-speed traction control and standard Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), helps keep the car under control in all driving conditions. Additional standard safety equipment includes the Personal Safety System™ which features dual-stage driver and front passenger air bags, seat belt pretensioners and Belt-Minder®.
The exterior sheet metal keeps to the 2010 redesign, with new headlamps, lower fascias, fenders, and grille capped by a powerdome hood that adds to the muscular appearance while allowing for enhanced air cooling of the engine. Improvements in body stiffness contribute to the coupe and convertible’s driving performance and provides the benefit of accident protection. Mustang uses high-strength steel in its body structure and ultra-high-strength steel in the door intrusion beams for additional side-impact protection. The front bumper and nose area are slated to receive aerodynamic refinements and a revised and taller rear spoiler. There is also the continuing tradition of the of the retro 1970 style headlight and gills. The 2011 Ford Mustang is the best Mustang produced from a long line of Ford Mustangs.
